Daytona Area Homes Sale Prices 2010

The average price per square foot for all sales of single family homes in 2010 was just over $85. While the monthly averages fluctuated each month, the average sale price remained relatively flat throughout the year. This data is interesting in that it comes on the heals of several years of declining sales prices.

A recently published report shows the incredible fluctuation of sales prices during the decade between 2000-2010. The flattening of sales prices during the last year may indicate a trend and represent the end of the incredible slide that the housing market has experienced in the area.

This is great news for both buyers and sellers. Buyers: Now is the time to get off the fence. This is the time. Sellers: Hope may be around the corner.
