Single Family Homes and Condominiums in Daytona Beach Area

Through the first three quarters of 2011 the number of new homes being listed on the market in the Greater Daytona Beach Area has decreased year over year by an astounding 16.5%. During the same period, Realtors have sold over 5% more homes and almost 4% more are in the process awaiting closing. These combined numbers continue to show that inventory is declining as buyers return to the real estate market.

Prices of Homes and Condos in Daytona Beach Area

Price has continued to decline but has slowed to a median change in price of only about 2% during this same year to date period. Most of that price decline occurred at the beginning of 2011. In fact, prices increased in price by over 2% when comparing August 2011 to the same month in 2010. Further, August outperformed July by over 4% in terms of price.

Housing Statistics

These statistics are generated from the Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors and include data for all property types. Single Family Homes and Condominiums are both included under the residential category. Similar results can be seen for vacant land and other property types.

The Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors primarily focuses on Ormond Beach, Ormond By The Sea, Daytona Beach, Holly Hill, Daytona Beach Shores, Port Orange, South Daytona, Wilbur By The Sea, and Ponce Inlet.
